Three top fitness trends in the world are functional training, core conditioning and express workouts. Hard Core is a new program that is being launched at V Club which combines these trends into one perfect class.

Hard Core is a 30 minute express class
for the busy person who wants a real workout real fast. It’s a ‘get in, get busy and get out’ class where you will leave feeling satisfied and exhausted. This results driven class consists of full body, functional movements that will strengthen and shape the entire mid section.

When most people think of ‘core’, they think purely abdominals. But there is so much more.
Think of your core like an egg with a front, back, top, bottom and insides. At the front you have your rectus abdominus. This is the most commonly worked muscle when doing crunches, this is your six-pack. At the back, you have your erector spinae and multifidus which control much of the movement of the spine. Deep inside is where you’ll find your transverse abdominus, this strong muscle is responsible for posture and protection of the spine. Then you have your diaphragm on top and the base is your pelvic floor. For a complete core workout, all these muscles must be worked.

Using edgy new equipment like kettlebells, TRX, fit balls and medicine balls, Hard Core classes are both enjoyable and challenging.

The workout is specifically structured for all ages, fitness levels and body types.
